Omid ID is a unique identification number assigned to each family registered through Aseel’s Emergency Response program. The name “Omid”, derived from the Persian word for hope—reflects our mission to bring dignity and relief to families facing crisis. Each Omid ID helps track a family’s location, contact information, level of need, and the support they have received so far. This information ensures aid is delivered efficiently and fairly, and helps determine eligibility for additional assistance.Alongside the ID, every beneficiary receives an Omid Card, a key tool in our commitment to transparency. It enables donors to directly support families and track the impact of their contributions with trust and accountability.

Beneficiaries are families in urgent need, either submitted by donors through the Aseel Beneficiary Form or verified by the Atalan Network of local volunteers. These include disaster-affected families, single-parent or female-headed households, widows, people with disabilities, orphans, and others facing severe hardship.

To request an Omid ID, you must complete the Register an Omid ID form, providing the necessary information about both the beneficiary and the referrer.Once verified, the family will be assigned an Omid ID, which can be used for future aid requests.Note: Omid IDs are issued only to families identified as being in need.

To fill out the beneficiary form for Aseel's DirectAid Beta, the following information is required:

1. Referrer Information:

   • Email Address
   • Contact Number
2. Beneficiary Information:
   • First Name
   • Last Name
   • Province
   • District
   • At least one active phone number
   • Wishlist packages

This ensures accurate registration, proper delivery, and accountability throughout the aid process.

Aseel’s emergency assistance and crowdfunding platform is powered entirely by individual donations.To receive a package, someone, such as a friend, relative, or supporter—must make a donation on your behalf using your Omid ID. Once the donation is received, our team will ensure the package is delivered to you.If you are unable to find a donor, don’t worry—your Omid ID will be added to our waiting list. When we receive general donations not tied to specific families, we prioritize support for those on this list based on urgency and vulnerability.
